The Southern Lakes Swim Series – the pinnacle for New Zealand’s fresh water swim experience.

Staged in pristine waters and breathtaking landscapes across the lower half of New Zealand's South Island, the SLSS provides a range of swim distances for all swimmers and the chance to compete and enjoy a swim in some of New Zealand’s most famous adventure towns.  

 

Renowned for its mineral rich glacial waters, awe inspiring mountains and unmatched community support, the SLSS is a swim journey across 3 months from the height of summer. The SLSS is for open water swimmers who dream about doing something different with a series of swims that should be on the bucket list.

Consisting of FIVE amazing events in the lower South Island of New Zealand, the Southern LakesSwimSeries features venues and swim distances in amazing locations.

Incentive - a $1250 prize

How? It's easy - you complete a swim, of any distance, in any four out of the five events and be at the finale at The Whakatipu Legend in Queenstown. There, the eligible winner of the series will be picked receiving the single $1250 prize purse. You simply have to be in to win.
